Functional Explorations Laboratory

The Functional Explorations Laboratory serves patients from the clinical departments of Pulmonology and Infectious Diseases, respectively the Thoracic Surgery, ICU and Respiratory Medical Recovery departments in the hospital structure, as well as the TBC Dispensary. It has the mission to perform the entire range of functional explorations usual in clinical practice to the quality standards accepted by specialized forums in the field and to integrate in the daily practice the didactic activity and professional training related to the respiratory functional explorations. The state-of-the-art equipment at its disposal and the super-specialized staff have made this laboratory currently a national reference center in the field of complex respiratory functional explorations.
