ICU Department

Was created in the hospital since 1993 when it moved from the building of the Institute of Cardiology and served the entire Hospital of Infectious Diseases and Pneumophthisiology "Dr. V. Babes" (infectious pathology, respiratory and TBC), until the establishment of the ICU Infectious Diseases

Patients with HIV / AIDS pathology were also hospitalized and partially resolved within the ICU Department, and the first case of avian influenza was resolved favorably within the ICU Department.

At present, the ICU Department serves the Pulmonology and Thoracic Surgery departments.
